Writer. Critical thinker. Solo-traveler. Feminist. Adventure Aficionado. Avid blogger.
I have one thing to prove to myself—I can live life fearlessly, welcoming spontaneity. I’d hate to be disrupted by routine and thus I lead the exploratory life of an insatiably impassioned journalist with a human interest, a keen cultural curiosity and an affinity for impulsive travel. I’m an editorial producer in travel and a freelance multimedia reporter across a gamut of beats. My work has taken me around the world covering conflict- and disaster-prone developing regions, writing on education reform in Somalia to reproductive health amid the Liberian Ebola epidemic, sex work in Indonesia and famine in South Sudan. It’s also provided me with the opportunity to interview faces like Lydia McLaughlin of Real Houswives of Orange County, nude model Elle Evans of Robin Thicke’s controversial “Blurred Lines” music video, Tough Love star Kyle Keller and Grammy-nominated dance and music duo LMFAO’s DJ Dainjazone.
I have a BA in Journalism & New Media with a double minor in Writing and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Gettysburg College, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
